Burlington is located in the northern part of North Carolina and straddles two counties, Alamance and Guilford. There are several quaint and homey B&B establishments in and around Burlington that will give you a relaxing retreat from everyday life. The annual Christmas in the Park celebration is held in late December and features entertainment, free amusement park rides, a live nativity scene, and more. The annual Student Art Show is held in late April in Burlington and features art awards, recognition for students, and is great for art lovers. The Ace Speedway is Nascar-sanctioned and features many races throughout the year.
