The Burke Manor Inn is a prestigious historical, upscale inn offering seven luxurious guest rooms and was just voted Alamance County's BEST Bed and Breakfast. The home has been painstakingly restored to its original 1906 grandeur as designed by the Cone family and later the Burkes, yet adding in all the amenities required by today's traveler. Each room is private and features its own bath with a jacuzzi tub and shower OR a Hydro Therapy Massage shower with 5 adjustable heads. When you experience the Burke Manor you will agree it is "A World Away Just Down The Street." Rich in history, it was originally owned and built by Clarence Cone, a textile magnet (Cone Mills) the home was sold to J.W. Burke in 1911. Four generations of Burkes resided in the house until the home was sold to Vernon and Lynn Brady in May of 1999. The Inn is named in honor of its original owners Mr. & Mrs. J.W. Burke who were outstanding citizens in our community, county and the state of North Carolina. The ambiance of the home combined with the amenities, food, and service is why it was voted the areas BEST.
