Biltmore Village Inn

The Biltmore Suite is a large bedroom and sitting room combination. Both the 19' x 14' bedroom and the 11' x 15' sitting room have bay windows overlooking the grounds and surrounding hills. The room is centered on a king-sized estate bed.

The Persian Heriz rug is semi-antique. The sitting room has a black queen-sized Sealy Posturepedic sleeper sofa to enjoy watching the 32" widescreen HDTV.

This large (19' x 15') ground floor room with king-sized bed overlooking the porch and the eastern mountains. In the bay window is a comfortable Victorian loveseat perfectly situated to watch a movie on the 32" widescreen HDTV with DVD player, or relax near the fireplace. The Reed Room looks out over the wrap-around porch. The king-sized bath (14' x 15') has a huge double whirlpool tub, separate shower, and is one of three in the house with a fireplace.

Our largest room at 16' x 21' the richly-appointed Vanderbilt Room has a king-sized mahogany poster bed with reeded posts carved with ribbons, as does the canopy frame. The hand-carved mahogany entertainment center is adorned with acanthus leaves, flowers, and blind fretwork. These are reproductions of 18th-century pieces. In the large bay window looking out on the 100-year-old oak trees is a luxurious white Chinese Chippendale sofa. The wing chair next to the fireplace is covered with very old Indian crewel embroidery. The very large bath is 14' x 12', and has an enormous double whirlpool tub, from which you can enjoy the fireplace-as you can from the glass-surrounded separate shower.

The warm and bright Wingate Room is a generous 14' x 17', and faces the eastern mountains. The magnificent queen bed is Mozambique faux bamboo by Ralph Lauren. Over the fireplace is a 32" widescreen HDTV.

Rate: $240.

The room and bath were created from the original servant's cottage built around the turn of the century (we have to say 20th now). Just a few steps from the back of the house, the Honeymoon Cottage has its own rocking-chair porch and private entrance. The charming bedroom is 13' square, with a queen-sized bed, gas log fireplace and a 32" widescreen HDTV. The 15' x 13' bath has a two-person heart-shaped whirlpool tub, separate glassed-in shower, and its own gas log fireplace.
Rate: $245. The Honeymoon Cottage is also pet-friendly at $25/night per dog.

The sitting room holds a queen-sized Sealy Posturepedic sleeper sofa, and a large TV with VCR.

Rate: $220; $38/day for each person more than two; $25/day for each dog.
