The Lodge has 10 guest rooms on 3 different levels, each decorated uniquely in a different North Carolina theme.
Five Rooms Upstairs - These rooms open out onto the 2nd Floor deck with a great mountain view.
Wildflower Room

Wildflower Room at $185 per night features a queen size bed made from locust logs cut from the property. The room is decorated with photos, etchings and pottery of local wildflowers, many of which can be found blooming around the lodge. It has an extra large bathroom with a luxurious two person whirlpool tub, with a shower.
The Bird Room at $145 per night is filled with houses and photos of our native birds with binocs close by. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony, where you can view the birds at the feeders in the gardens below as well as the mountains beyond. It has a queen size bed, ceramic tile bath, and combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Outer Banks Room and the Bike Room.
The Bike Room at $145 per night with the old timey, big wheel bike art, the side table of old suitcases, and the antique bike poster reminds you of simpler times and simpler bikes. It has a back door to the 2nd floor balcony for long range views. The black, queen size, iron bed with all the tasteful black accents gives the room an air of sophistication. The ceramic tile bath has a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Water Room and the Bird Room.
The Outer Banks Room at $135 per night with its shells, weathered wood, & pictures give this room an authentic feel of the North Carolina coast. It has an antique, wrought iron, full size bed. The ceramic tile bath with a combination tub & shower has a large, custom vanity for all your bath items. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond and is adjacent to the Wildflower room and the Bird Room.
The Water Room at $160 per night was inspired by the waterfalls, rivers and streams we’ve loved in this area. The blue accent wall behind the Heart Pine trestle bed makes you feel like you are resting beside the water after a day of fishing or canoeing. It is on the west end of the second floor and has a private entrance to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond. The spacious, glass enclosed shower in the large, airy bath gives you the feel of bathing in a warm waterfall. It is adjacent to the Bike Room.
The Main Level - This level has our spacious great room and a large deck with mountain views.
The Barn Room at $160 per night has a bit of the rustic feel of the handsome old N.C. barns. It has a queen size, Heart Pine bed, rough sawn pine wainscoting; and art work of family farm life. The vaulted ceiling, large windows, lavish bath and whirlpool tub make this bedroom and bath feel especially spacious. It is on the main floor and can be reached with no steps involved at all. It is handicap accessible with grab bars, 36” wide bath door, additional hand held shower and ADA sink. It is adjacent to the great room with no room above it.
The Four Rooms Downstairs
The Fern Room at $185 per night is Jodee’s favorite room with walls and accents in soft, soothing greens that give the Fern Room the feel of a lush, forest glen. It has a luxurious king size bed. The spacious bath has an oversized, two person jetted tub. The back door opens to the large, covered deck overlooking the garden with swings and rockers. It is adjacent to the downstairs sitting room on the west end of the lodge.
The Mountain Room at $160 per night has traditional quilts and memorabilia that bring to mind the rich heritage of Appalachia. The back door opens to the large, covered deck overlooking the garden with swings and rockers. The king size bed can also be set up as two twin beds when needed. The bath has a large soaking tub with a shower. It is adjacent to the downstairs sitting room and the Tree Room.
The Tree Room at $145 per night captures the feel of the forest with its soft mocha colors and beautiful queen bed made of cherry branches. The back door opens to the spacious lower covered, deck with swings, rockers and views of the forest. It has a slate tile bath with a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Mountain and Cherokee rooms.
The Cherokee Room at $145 per night honors the noble tribe that roamed these mountains before us. It has a rustic, pine log, queen size bed, slate tile bath with a combination tub & shower. The back door opens to the spacious lower covered, deck with swings, rockers and views of the forest. It is adjacent to the Tree Room.

All rates are double occupancy and include breakfast & afternoon snack.
