The Azalea Inn was built in 1937, by a member of the "Banner" family, and now has 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, all beautifully decorated with hardwood floors, ceramic tile baths, antiques as well as mattresses (so comfortable you might not want to get out of bed), down comforters, and cable television in the rooms. There are romantic clawfoot tubs, as well as a whirlpool tub; and one room has its own front porch with 4 comfortable rockers.

There is an upstairs cottage above the garage, with whirlpool tub, and a mountain lodge decor. There is the plate garden to see, outdoor mosaics on benches and wallhangings; and other garden seating to enjoy the pleasant days and cool evenings.
