Anchorage House Bed and Breakfast - Beaufort, North Carolina The Anchorage House is situated in the historic North Carolina town of Beaufort. Since 1525, seafarers have been drawn to the haven of Beaufort Harbor. The natural beauty, abundant fish and wildlife, and safe anchorage attracted them. For nearly 130 years, our lovely cottage has contributed to the charms of Beaufort. We invite you to make the Anchorage House your home in Beaufort as you sample the area's many attractions. The 1883 Gothic Revival cottage has many historic treasures, such as heart pine floors, mahogany doors, archways and mantels.

Awake to the wonderful smells of homemade biscuits, pecan or fruit waffles, or our special macadamia nut French toast. Freshly ground Larry beans coffee served at the perfect temperature to enhance the coffee's flavor. Also available are juices and various teas. Breakfast is served at 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. Menu varies daily. Arrangements can be made for early risers.

Let us bring breakfast to you. Sleep in and relax, while we pamper you with a hearty breakfast complete with newspaper delivered right to your room ($20). Also, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate your needs.

Guest Rooms/Rates
The Abingdon - has a queen size wrought iron bed with a pillow top mattress and an inverted paneling bathroom and a single-person Jacuzzi Tub. $110 - $150
The Hemingway - has a queen size mahogany bed with a pillow top mattress and a walk-in closet that leads to a large bathroom. $95 - $130
The Statesman - located on first floor of the house, this room contains a private bath with limited handicap accessible features. Cannon ball twin beds that change into a king size bed. $75 - $100
The Elizabethan - has a queen size pencil post mahogany bed with a pillow top mattress. It also has a unique plaster archway with functioning drawers and two doors leading to the half bath and the shower. $95 - $130
