The Blair House now provides gracious bed and breakfast accommodations in a hometown setting. Completely renovated in 2001, four guest suites are available, each with bedroom, sitting room, and private bath. Every suite also has in-room cable, DVD, and phone, as well as individual climate control. A complimentary refreshment center with snacks and beverages is also available.

Morrow Mountain State Park is located east of Albemarle and offers campgrounds and plenty of hiking trails. There are lots of lakes near Albemarle including Tuckertown Lake, Badin Lake, and Lake Tillery, so your family will have plenty of opportunities for swimming, boating, or fishing during their visit here. The executive chef at the exclusive Albemarle restaurant has worked hard to include a wide variety of classic British dishes in its award-winning menu. The Breakfast Nook serves only breakfast, but it's a favorite of the locals making it a great place for you and your family to visit and get a taste of both versions of local flavor!
