Surrounded by mature trees and other period homes, this stunning and gracious Colonial Revival home in Asheville's Montford Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Designed by Biltmore Estate's supervising architect, Richard Sharp Smith, in 1908 for a prominent Asheville businessman.

The house is winner of the Preservation Society's prestigious Griffin Award.
Our English style gardens have won "Best in the County" award.

Across town from Biltmore Estate, minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and less than a half mile from downtown, Abbington Green Bed & Breakfast is the perfect location for enjoying Asheville's sites and activities.

English Boxwood & Rose Garden

The inn has a British theme and is filled with fireplaces, antique furnishings, fine rugs, plants and flowers. The British theme is also reflected in the six garden areas around the house.

Lower Garden

Our focus is simple: to provide a perfect place for you to celebrate a special occasion, stop-off in a business trip or just relax and regain you energy.

Play chess or piano in the living room. Curl up with a good book in front of our parlor fireplace. Or enjoy a lively conversation on our expansive front porch, verandas or the outdoor deck. And you won't want to miss a walk through our award winning gardens and lawn, or "green" as it's known in England.

Guest Rooms and Suites

Each of our eight stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites is named after parks and gardens around London. Combining the best of yesterday's and today's traditions, each room has a private bath and features canopy-draped king or queen size beds, hotel-quality bedding, antique furnishings, air conditioning, fine towels and soaps, flowers and greenery. Three guest rooms and three suites also have working fireplaces.
