Cedarwood - Milepost 79 - Located on two acres, three miles from the Trace, behind the courhouse in Raymond’s historic district. Guests stay in the c. 1850 Greek revival front house in two roomy upstairs bedrooms and relax in the parlor, open front gallery, glass sunroom, and cozy sitting and refreshment area. Hosts live in the connecting 1830’s rear house. On the National Historic Register and awarded the Mississippi Heritage Trust Award of Excellence for the restoration. $100. Mamie's Cottage - Milepost 76 - Just a few miles from the Trace, near Raymond, this quaint 1840's cottage won an Award of Merit from the Mississippi Heritage Trust for its restoration! It has two suites, each with an outside entrance. Each has a large bedroom and an adjoining small one. There’s a porch, a deck, TVs and VCRs, and a small refrigerator in each. Full breakfast is served in the large interesting main house. $115. The Corners Bed & Breakfast - In historic Vicksburg, MS, 15 miles from the Trace, this mansion was built around 1873 as a wedding present from father to daughter and is on the National Historic Register. built 1868. All rooms, in the charming adjacent guesthouse, open onto

Collina Plantation - Milepost 39 - This classic Greek Revival planter's home in Port Gibson, just two miles from the Trace, was built around 1835 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Beautifully restored, with a library with satellite TV, books and magazines, on nine acres of grounds, yet within walking distance of the historic downtown. Two guest rooms, each with private entrance to the rear gallery. $135 a couple. Oak Square - This home is also in Port Gibson, two miles from the Trace. The grounds of this home contain two guest houses with seven rooms for guests, each with a massive four-poster canopy bed and other antique furnishings. In nice weather, you'll enjoy the patio. And Port Gibson is certainly a "must see"! A full Southern breakfast is served each morning; dinner available by prior arrangement. $125-$158.
