Magnolia House Magnolia House Eight miles from the Trace in Franklin, this home was built around 1905 on land that was the site of the Battle of Franklin. Craftsman style and recently renovated, the home is within two blocks of the historic Carter House and the Lotz House Civil War Museum and a pleasant walk to historic downtown Franklin. Sitting room, fireplace, deck for guests. $110-$125.

This new three bedroom guest house is located on a real working farm, with a menagerie of animals to enjoy, set in beautiful rolling hills. There are big screened porches to relax on, a fireplace to enjoy in cool weather, and a swimming pool for the summer. A great spot for a family or group getaway, or for just a couple. Children welcome. $90 with private bath, $150 for two rooms sharing a bath, and $250 for the whole house.
