Maple Terrace Inn Located just one and a half miles from the Trace in Kosciusko, this home was built in 1912 and is listed on the National Historic Register. It is full of fine furnishings and antiques; however, it was completely rennovated in 2003, so everything is fresh and comfortable. Just two blocks from the courthouse square, which has been revitalized as a Main Street USA project. $110 for a couple. McWillie-Singleton House - Fifteen (or five) miles from the Trace, this home is set in the heart of the Canton, Mississippi Historic District, just a stroll to the main square. The home was built about 1860 and has 14 foot ceilings, heart pine flooring, and two shady porticoes. The billiard room is also a business center with PC, printer, scanner, high-speed and wireless Internet connection, and copier. There is a suite with a king tester bed, TV, fireplace, and bath with a claw-foot tub, for $140. The upstairs room has a queen bed, TV, and bath and is $110. Children over seven welcome.
