Historic Tamarack Lodge B&B and Cabins - Hungry Horse, Montana The Historic Tamarack Lodge is in the heart of Flathead Canyon just outside of Glacier National Park. As an AAA Diamond Member, the Historic Tamarack Lodge in Hungry Horse, Montana offers private Glacier National Park Cabin Rentals and Bed and Breakfast accommodations.

Known for our outstanding hospitality, hearty continental breakfasts and affordable lodging rates, our Bed and Breakfast is situated in a spectacular scenic mountain valley in the midst of the Montana Rockies surrounded by the Flathead National Forest. We are eight minutes from the entrance to Glacier National Park, half hour from Whitefish Skiing or downtown Kalispell, and 20 minutes from the Glacier International Airport (FCA).

The Historic Tamarack Lodge is truly a four-season destination and offers--within a five-mile radius--an array of activities appealing to all ages and a wide range of interests. The historic Flathead River is just across the road and is known for its blue ribbon trout fishing; or you may want to take the short scenic drive south to Flathead Lake where boating, picnicking, and swimming abound. The Big Sky Waterslide is just 4 miles away, plus dining, shopping, golfing, and entertainment all in nearby Hungry Horse.

The Historic Tamarack Lodge provides 3400 square feet of rustic charm and still boasts its original over-sized natural stone fireplace and pole pine lodge interior and exterior architecture. We are particularly excited about our six newly constructed two-bedroom cabins with private decks. You will love their kitchens, hardwood floors, and tile baths (and a full-sized living room futon for extra sleeping needs).
