Introduction
Built in 1904 by entrepreneur W. A. Hall, Yellowstone Suites is a three-story stone house situated just three blocks from the historic Roosevelt Arch, the original gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The stones used on the first floor are from the nearby Yellowstone River. The stones used for the second and third floors are said to be "leftovers" from building the Roosevelt Arch.
Four guest rooms, 2 with private baths and a suite with a kitchenette, are arranged for comfort and privacy on the second and third floors. Bay windows, balconies and verandahs invite the natural beauty of the surrounding scenery into your room.
Relax after a day of sightseeing in the family room with DISH tv, an extensive library and videos on Yellowstone, and table games. A large shaded porch and a beautifully landscaped garden invite you to take in the fresh country air and enjoy the Big Sky experience.

Leisure and Dining
A full country breakfast is served family style and includes an egg dish, meat, hot/cold cereals, seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh baked pastries and a wide assortment of beverages. House specialties include crepes filled with a cheese blend and topped with warm fruit, banana bread and cherry/pecan scones.
"Breakfasts-to-go" are available for early morning anglers, hunters, birders, or wildlife watchers and include yogurt, granola, fresh baked pastry, seasonal fruit and juice box. And don't forget to take your thermos filled with coffee or tea.
Packed lunches or gourmet picnic items can also be purchased. A limited dinner selection is available to guests only during the winter season.
Activities
Activities are year-round in Gardiner, as the North entrance to Yellowstone is the only road accessible by car to Cooke City, MT. Wildlife viewing along this route in the fall and winter months are the best time to see antelope, bison, elk, deer, bighorn sheep and wolves, and also to avoid the crowds.
River raft trips, canoeing, fishing, hunting (outside the Park), horseback riding, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are just a few of the many year around activities.
Galleries, gift shops, a theater and restaurants are just a leisurely stroll away in the "undiscovered" town of Gardiner, Montana.
