| Introduction |

Our Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Red Lodge, Montana on the south edge of the business district. We are located at the corner of Broadway and 14th Street next to the Community Church. Red Lodge is nestled at the foot of the majestic Beartooth Mountains. It is the gateway to the Beartooth Highway, a National Scenic Byway and the route Charles Kuralt deemed the "most beautiful road in America". The Northeast entrance to Yellowstone Park is a 68 mile drive over the Beartooth Highway. Just a one-hour drive from Billings Logan International Airport, Gallagher's Irish Rose is the perfect location for exploring Yellowstone Country. Artist Leah Gallagher's original art work, plus the work of other artists, adorns our elegant, lovingly restored stately home (circa 1910). The décor includes handmade rugs and crafts collected by the hosts in their travels. Each room has been individually decorated to create a special place in your home away from home. |

Summertime activities in and around Red Lodge include hiking, horseback riding, fishing, animal viewing, swimming, boating, golfing, tennis and numerous others. Wintertime activities in and around Red Lodge include skiing (both downhill and cross country), snowboarding, snowmobiling and the Red Lodge Winter Festival, the National Ski-Joring Finals and the annual Christmas Stroll. Winter is the time to relax by the living room fireplace or in our library. Both the living room and library boast chess tables and a collection of board games. Guests are encouraged to relax with a book from our library. Complimentary gourmet coffee, tea and soft drinks are available to our guest.

You may choose between a delicious, home made, hearty breakfast (changing daily) or a lighter breakfast of fresh fruit and home made muffins, breads or scones. Autumn is the time to enjoy golden aspen trees on the slopes along with other fall colors. Enjoy the leisurely pace of autumn in Red Lodge and unwind in one of Irish Rose's spa tubs or in front of a cozy gas fire place. Leave your vehicle parked while you visit galleries, fine restaurants, the theatre, shops, a bookstore, casinos, bowling alley, Carnegie Library, The Candy Emporium and numerous other attractions, all within a short walk of the Irish Rose. A wireless internet connection is available for our guest. |
