- Main House ~ 6 rooms (2 are Suites)
- All are beautifully furnished with full and half-canopy beds. These are the most spacious bedrooms with high ceilings.
- Courtyard Building ~ 3 rooms and 1 Suite
- In the old kitchen and servants quarters, three of these rooms have access to a balcony with rocking chairs, tables and a porch swing overlooking the pond and garden. One suite has a patio sitting area with rocking chairs facing the courtyard and a fireplace.
- Garden Cottages ~ 4 rooms
- Two of which have twin bed and the other two have double beds. Working fireplaces. Beautifully furnished. A front porch with rocking chairs, beautifully set facing the gardens.
- Carriage House Suites ~ 4 rooms
- All suites, named after battles that John A. Quitman fought in Mexico. Each suite contains a sitting room, bedroom, large private bath and entrance foyer. The two downstairs suites have patios next to the croquet court. The upstairs suites have porches with rocking chairs and ceiling fans. All have working fireplaces, queen beds and queen sofa sleepers.
- Plantation Suites ~ 6 rooms
- These suites were named for the plantations in the Quitman family. Four suites are ground floor, two on the second floor. All have a Jacuzzi tub, working fireplace, separate sitting room with sofa sleepers, porch or balcony perfect for a quiet getaway, beautifully set in the gardens.
- Quitman's Retreat ~ 3 rooms
- This is our most luxurious property, surrounded by century-old oak, pecan and blooming crepe myrtle. The large front gallery with ceiling fan and rocking chairs, overlooks a fully stocked pond. To the rear there is a secluded deck overlooking the plantations woods.
- Pond Cottages ~ 3 rooms
- Two beautifully designed rooms plus a large three roomed suite - these recently completed accommodations are exquisitely decorated and all have large Jacuzzi equipped bathrooms.
- YEAR 2007 - 2008 RATES:
Guest rooms: $195/$235
Suites: $260/$395
All rates are based on double-occupancy. High season rates are in effect during March, April, May, and October. - You can make reservations at Monmouth Plantation between 8:00am and 10:00pm Central Time ~ by telephone, FAX or E-mail.
- All posted rates include a complimentary full Southern breakfast and tour of the main house.
- A major credit card will be required to secure your reservation.
- We require that cancellations be made at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival.
- We will send a confirmation of your reservation.
- A 10% lodging tax is added to guest statements.
- Payment can be made with Discover, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Carte Blanche, and Diners Club.
- Arrival time is between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. We request that arrangements be made for late arrivals.
- Our usual check-out time is by 11:00 am. This allows us to prepare the guest rooms for newly-arriving guests.
- Not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
- No pets allowed.
- We are a non-smoking inn, however, smoking is allowed outside of the guest rooms and buildings.
