Introduction

Hearts Content was built circa 1903 by Annie and Louis Hossley and spared no expense. Crystal chandeliers adorned the lower rooms, of which the dining room fixture still remains. All of the ceilings in the home are 12 feet high and covered in ornate punched tin; and the ladies parlor boasts the most extravagant of the bunch. The center hall features a grand mahogany staircase, prime for welcoming any blushing bride. On the newel post stands an ornate statue of a cherub holding three lights and a bow. Hearts Content also is the only home in Canton with an elevator! The wrap around porch with rocking chairs, wicker sitting areas, and large columns will truly take you back in time to when life was enjoyed on the porches of America. Enjoy a delicious breakfast served with our special pecan butter toast, made with pecans from our huge pecan tree in the back yard!

Annie's Room

Hearts Content features four rooms and is also available for special events
such as weddings, receptions, bridal showers/brunches, parties, photo shoots.

Policies

Check In is at 3 pm. Check Out is at 11 am.
Breakfast served at 7 am weekdays, 8 am weekends
Cancellations with more than 72 hours notice full refund.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will still be charged
for one night unless room can be rebooked.
Sorry, we do not accept pets.
Smoking is not allowed in the home.
Children over the age of 12 are accepted.
Flea market: rooms are booked with a two night minimum stay.
All rates are double occupancy.
Additional occupancy is $25 per person.
A 7% Mississippi sales tax will be added.
Room reservations require a one night deposit.
