A generous freshly-cooked Southern breakfast is served family-style in the dining room each morning at 8:30. About the innkeepers Ron and Mimi work at the local historic preservation organization, the Historic Natchez Foundation. Ron is the executive director and Mimi is the director of program services. They have written articles and books on the history, architecture, and decorative arts of Natchez and its modern preservation efforts. Ron appeared on the Natchez segments of the A&E television productions of America's Castles and Bob Vila's Historic Homes of America. He lectures the nation on Natchez and its history.

Natchez also has a broader appeal with nationally significant sites related to Native American and African American history.
