Yates House Bed & Breakfast

The Yates House is a lovely reproduction of an 1850 Roadside Inn and was completed in 1991. This inviting building contains three of our six guest rooms. The guest rooms and common areas are large, comfortable, and well decorated. All guest rooms are provided with modern, full bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. The back porch, patio, and garden areas offer unsurpassed beauty for quiet reflection or visiting with your friends. Ample automobile parking and indoor, locked bicycle parking is provided. Room amenities include luxurious robes, hair dryer, toiletries, and bottled water. Breakfast will be brought to your room by request.

A large and inviting bedroom with attached bath, antique furnishings and beautiful, queen-sized, four post cherry "rice" bed set the mood in this comfortable room. This room has hardwood floors, two comfortable upholstered chairs, bedside lamps, TV/DVD. A private, attached bath with tub, shower and pedestal sink is provided.

Fine walnut and oak antique furnishings including a beautiful queen-sized iron bed set the mood in this comfortable room. A TV/DVD is hidden in the armoire. A private, attached bath with tub, shower and pedestal sink is provided.

A large sun-filled room located on the main level, comfortably furnished with a beautiful sleigh king-sized bed with feather top mattress, wing back chairs, TV/DVD, CD, and antiques. The large bath boasts a two-person jetted tub with chromatherapy and a large, walk-in shower.

Located next door to the Yates House, the Garden House was built in 1840 and offers three additional guest rooms. A recent addition to the Garden House provides space for Dixie's Kitchen and the Sun Room where your very special breakfast is served. Small catered events and cooking classes are also provided in Dixie's Kitchen and the Sun Room. Room amenities include luxurious robes, hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast will be brought to your room by request.

This first floor room features an elegant queen-sized bed with leaded glass panel in the headboard. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, comfortable upholstered chairs, electric fireplace, and a bath with large walk-in shower make this a great home away from home. A TV/DVD is hidden in the armoire.

This wonderfully elegant and spacious first floor suite of rooms features a sitting room with gas fireplace, TV/DVD, CD/Stereo, and comfortable furnishings. The king-sized sleigh bed has high count sheets and luxurious bedding. The luxurious bath provides a two-person jetted tub and large, walk-in shower. A complete wet bar with refrigerator (stocked with complimentary soft drinks and water), sink, coffee maker, and glassware is provided.

This upstairs private hideaway occupies the entire second floor of the Garden House. It has an English Oak king-sized bed with feather top mattress, antique furnishings including table and chairs, upholstered chairs for relaxation and reading, and a CD player. A TV/DVD is hidden in the armoire. A very large bath includes a tub and shower.

• Advance reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are happily accepted but room availability may be limited.

• Please communicate your special needs to us in advance.
• Check-in between 4pm and 9pm. Other arrival times need to be prearranged and approved.
• Check-out is by 11am.
• Smoking is not permitted in buildings or on the grounds.
• No pets or children please.
• Room reservation cancellation notice for one room reservations received ten (10) or more days before your reservation date will generate no financial charges or other obligations.
• Room reservation cancellation notice for one room reservations received nine (9) days or less before your reservation date will generate full charges to you.
• Late cancellation charges will occur in every case unless we are able to resell your room.
• Multiple room reservation cancellation notice for one or more rooms received thirty (30) or more days before your reservation date will generate no financial charges or other obligations.
