Cooking Class
Also new this year will be two different formats for individual cooking classes: Wednesday Evening Classes can be scheduled from November through April. These 2-hour hands-on sessions will focus on a special topic or technique. Lunch & Learn - Get your group together for a fun cooking demonstration followed by a gourmet lunch. In addition to bed and breakfast accommodations, Yates House also offers Missouri catering services. A kitchen and dining addition to the Garden House provides space for Dixie's Kitchen and Sun Room where award-winning breakfasts are served and small catered events, meetings, and cooking classes are held. Dixie's gourmet kitchen is a well-known source of culinary delights. The freshest ingredients she can find, including locally grown produce, eggs, cheese, meats, and herbs from her own gardens are used to create wonderful food you will never forget. Your meals are prepared at the Garden House and are not "off the truck", a pejorative which describes much pre-prepared food served by restaurants or caterers.

Our comfortable meeting facility will serve small groups up to twenty-six. We customize your menu to provide exactly the food you want without adding extras you don't want.
