It offers a beautiful oval library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases and a wood-burning fireplace, a parlor, and a formal dining room. The house features an abundance of curved glass in the windows and the doors for the bookcases. Two guest rooms are available on the second floor, each with its own bath. 'The General's Quarters' features patriotic colors and Civil War memorabilia, and the bath has tub and shower. 'The Green Room' is decorated much like a young lady's bedroom might have looked at the turn of the century, and the bath has a Jacuzzi tub . Thick robes are provided for the guests. The home is decorated with many antiques including numerous Aladdin Lamps, some left as oil burning and others electrified for use by the guests. Rates: $90 |
