Weston is a small, charming town situated on the banks of the Missouri River in the northwest area of the state. There are many great reasons to spend the weekend at a Weston bed and breakfast. Every second Saturday of the month you can enjoy the taste of Weston from local restaurants, wineries, brewery and specialty shops during the day long "Historic Weston" festival. Stay in a Weston B&B during the months of December through March and enjoy a day of snow-skiing at Snow Creek. The main attraction of Weston is the McCormick Distillery and Country Store. This is the oldest distillery in the US still operating from its original site. Though the tours of the distillery were discontinued in 1995, one can visit the McCormick store for all its products and gift items. For wine enthusiasts, Pirtle Winery and Riverwood Winery are good sites for visit. Travelers can enjoy continental cuisine at the Avalon café that was built in 1847. They serve various delectable desserts. Stay at a Weston inn and enjoy local wine, local events and local food.
