How Su Casa accommodates dogs:

Our inn is very dog friendly. Our canine guests are welcomed with a fresh bowl of water and a treat. Two of the three rooms have private doors that lead to completely enclosed decks where dogs can enjoy some fresh air or relax in the sunshine. Each deck has a gate to the dog bridge, which leads to the spacious dog yard. There is plenty of space for you and your best canine companion to run and play in the dog yard. Your dog will be fascinated by Su Casa's resident barnyard animals - the ponies, donkeys, llamas, goats and geese. Dogs may not be left in the dog yard overnight or unattended. There is an additional fee of $15 per dog per night. Dogs must be pre-approved by innkeeper and must be current in all vaccinations, housetrained, must be seasoned travelers, must not be left at the inn alone, and must arrive CLEAN!

If your dog is crate-trained and accustomed to traveling with you, you may leave your dog in his or her crate in your room when you leave the inn to go to dinner or for other reasons for a relatively short duration. If you need to be away for the greater part of the day and/or evening, you will probably need a pet sitter or a doggy day care center:

When she is not tending to her guests, the innkeeper works with LL Dog Rescue, a 501 (a)(3) Missouri non-profit corporation, licensed with Missouri as an Animal Care Facility, and with Kansas as an Animal Shelter, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for unwanted dogs. LL specializes in purebred toy-breed, purebred Chihuahua and purebred sheltie rescue in the Greater Kansas City area. For more information see the LL Dog Rescue website.

Horse-Friendly

If you are traveling with your horse, Su Casa can accommodate both of you! Large paddocks (but not stalls) are available, with plenty of parking space for trucks and trailers. $25 for the first horse and $10 for each additional horse, per night.
