Rocheport, Missouri (MO) Bed and Breakfast: Historic circa 1914 schoolhouse is now a luxurious bed and breakfast inn located in historic Rocheport. Only 2 blocks from the scenic Katy Trail and one mile from the Les Bourgeois Winery and Bistro, enjoy a comfortable blend of modern amenities with antique furniture, 13-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors, plantation shutters and guest rooms sprinkled with small reminders of the Inn's simple past. The School House Bed & Breakfast, built circa 1914, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn was once a school for grades one through twelve for the river village of historic Rocheport.

After 15 months of extensive renovation, the historic circa 1914 Rocheport school building opened as the School House Bed & Breakfast in the spring of 1988. Mike and Lisa Friedemann purchased the Inn in 2002, now serving both as owners and resident innkeepers.

Common Room 		The School House Bed & Breakfast has ten distinct guestrooms, each decorated in beautiful antiques. Each guestroom has a full bath, queen-size bed, and air conditioning. Most rooms have ceiling fans and private phones. Our second floor Common Room, includes our breakfast kitchen, dining area and guest sitting area with cable television.

Rocheport Area Information

A day in Rocheport will leave you wanting another. On the scenic Katy Trail, you can hike or bike between limestone canyon walls and the river's edge. Cross over creeks and streams and explore the old railroad tunnel. Enjoy wood bridges underfoot and tree-top canopies overhead as you discover historic Rocheport, established in 1825. The village is rich with quality antique shops, art, historic architecture and old-world gardens. And let's not forget the great cafes, and the Les Bourgeois Winery and Bistro atop the river bluff, offering an incredible view.
