As you walk up the brick pathway, open the wrought iron gates, and enter through the enormous 14 foot carved doors, you know you are in the right place.

Awaken to the aroma of our own blend of coffee...... For you, we serve a full champagne breakfast on old china, sterling silver, and crystal. Today you might have crepes stuffed with crab, creamed eggs and cheese topped with sour cream. Tomorrow may be Citrus Belgian Waffles topped with whipping cream and fresh berries, or perhaps our "Breakfast Flower" quiche filled with a blend of cheeses, vegetables and herbs picked from our herb gardens. Breakfast is served in our formal dining room. From the beautiful hand painted crystal glasses and large crystal chandelier, to the spectacular cast iron fireplace, huge sideboard, and original oil painting, the dining room seems to have jumped off an artist's canvas.

Weather permitting; guests may also enjoy breakfast alfresco on the private deck off the dining room or in the English gardens. A perfect place to relax or read a book, the English gardens, with their brick paths, fountains, benches and iron tables hidden among flowers and greenery, lend an air of intimacy and tranquility to all who choose to enjoy them.

Historic Lafayette Square is one of St. Louis' most vibrant areas, famous for the largest collection of 2nd Empire Victorian homes in the nation, and chosen by Better Homes and Gardens and Architecture magazines as one of the "Prettiest Painted places" in America. Minutes from downtown St. Louis and various university/hospital complexes, the Park Avenue could not be more conveniently situated for the business traveler and tourist alike.
