Welcome to a Victorian Dollhouse with all the amenities, decorated throughout with wallpaper and lace. Chandeliers, antiques, and art add to its Country Victorian Charm. In room Jacuzzis, hot tub, Queen and King-sized iron and brass beds promise a great night's sleep after a day of traveling or visiting the area's attractions. Upon arrival you'll be treated to a beverage of your choice, treats, and a tour of the home. Luxury amenities, nightly turndowns, and chocolates await you. You will awaken in the morning to the wonderful aroma of early coffee and a full country breakfast in the making. There are common areas to share with other guests and the kitchen is always open. We put great emphasis on cleanliness, comfortable beds, and hospitality. We love sharing our home. Our guests come from all walks of life and we enjoy each and every one. We want you to enjoy your stay with us and return home safely, feeling pampered, relaxed, and as if you had stayed with family or friends. |

If not, maybe you should consider it and the St. James Area would be a good place to start. We are a quaint, small rural community with friendly people and an abundance of fun things to do. In St. James and within a 15 to 20 mile radius, we have rivers to float and horseback riding. Meramec Springs has a trout hatchery with fishing and museums, not to mention it is a beautiful park with picnicking areas, hiking trails, etc. Our city park has a fishing lake, public pool, tennis courts, pavilions for picnics, etc. We are home to Boys and Girls Town of Missouri and the Missouri Veterans Home. The University of Missouri at Rolla is 9 minutes away. We are in the middle of Wine Country with numerous vineyards and award winning wineries... two of which are located right here in town. There is an abundance of antique and craft shops in town and nearby, live theatre productions and a music theater are close, and the list goes on. Special events include The Grape & Fall Festival, the Old Ironworks Days at Meramec Springs, street & flea markets, and The Christmas Parlor Tour of Homes, to mention a few other activities are planned throughout the year. special. We have a large outdoor area where we have had several weddings of widely varying styles.

Little Tara is a private little cottage just across the drive in the rear of the house. It is completely private from everything else. Hopefully it has everything one could possibly want. It has wisteria wallpaper and a vaulted wallpaper ceiling. The cottage has a King Sized white wrought iron bed with white eyelet spread and curtains. There is a Crystal Chandelier over the bed. There is a corner fireplace, kitchenette with a white garden table and chairs for two, reclining loveseat, large double Jacuzzi, TV/VCR, under counter refrigerator, and microwave. Complementary coffee, tea, and sodas. There is a patio door that opens to a deck where you can be close to wildlife and nature. This is a favorite of our Honeymooners and Romantics. Guests in the cottage may come to the main house and join other guests for breakfast or have a breakfast basket delivered to the door. $175 per night |
| Melanie | Melanie is a large suite on the main floor off to itself and very private. It features a King Sized iron canopy bed, Victorian dresser, love seat, in room TV/VCR. The room is decorated in wallpaper and lace with a Crystal Chandelier over the bed. She has a large private bath with Jacuzzi and shower. The room has a patio door that opens to a balcony in the rear of the home and offers a serene place to sit and watch the sun go down in the evening. This is one of our more popular rooms. We consider it to be our Honeymoon / Anniversary suite. | $149 per night |
| Scarlett | Scarlett is a large, very pretty room with a queen-size bed that sits in the octagon turret window area of the front of the house. She has roses and ribbon wallpaper, lace, with a Crystal Chandelier over the bed. She has a nice private bath with shower over tub. There is a white loveseat and French styled dresser in the room. This room is a favorite with our guests. | $115 per night |
| Prissy | Prissy is a quaint room on the second floor. She has a white wrought iron Queen bed with antique wash stand and two comfortable chairs. The room is appointed with wallpaper and lace with bay window area looking toward the front of the house. She has a private bath with shower. | $95 per night |
