Greater St. Louis
Traveling to Missouri includes a visit to the city known as the “Gateway to the West” and that means making a lodging reservation at a St. Louis bed and breakfast. The Greater St. Louis region includes counties in the states of Missouri and Illinois and is the 18th largest metropolitan area in the U.S. The Gateway Arch is the most popular attraction, but there are many more like Anheauser-Bush Brewery, home of the Budweiser Clydesdales. Then, take a bike ride on Katy Trail, the longest “National Rails-to-Trails” project. Along the trail, overlooking the Missouri River is Marthasville where The Daniel Boone home is located.
