The Amber House Bed & Breakfast is located in Rocheport, Missouri. We are just minutes from the Missouri River and about 12 miles west of Columbia, Missouri. That is approximately 120 miles (two hours) east of Kansas City and approximately 120 miles (two hours) west of St. Louis. Conveniently located only 2 miles from I-70. Just a 15 minute drive to downtown Columbia and the University of Missouri campus. From Kansas City, you will drive east on I-70 for approximately 2 hours and take the first exit just past the Missouri River Bridge, the Rocheport Exit (Exit 115) and make a left. Exit 115 is also marked as Route BB. From St. Louis (coming from the east), you will drive west on I-70 for approximately 2 hours. Go approximately 12 miles past Columbia to the Rocheport Exit (Exit 115). Exit 115 is also marked as Route BB North. Make a right. Travel northwest on State Highway BB, approximately 2 miles, into the village of Rocheport. Upon entering Rocheport, Route BB turns into Third Street. Almost immediately after seeing the Rocheport population sign on your right, you will see the Amber House Bed & Breakfast on the left side of Third Street, at the corner of Third and Ward Streets. Driveway entrance is off Ward Street. On-site parking for our guests is available at the rear of the property to the left of the driveway entrance. Follow the stone path around the house to the large, wood front door and ring the bell for check-in. |
