Check In is between 3 - 6 pm. Please notify us in advance if you anticipate a later arrival. An earlier check-in may be available for an additional fee, but only by advance arrangement.

Deposits: a 50% deposit (100% for a one night stay) is required at the time of your reservation.
We accept Discover, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, travelers checks, and U.S. currency.
Rates and policies are based on double occupancy (excludes our business traveler rate) and are subject to change at any time.
Additional Guest Charge: We charge an additional guest charge of $35/person per night. We are only able to accomodate two additional guests in our Ryerson Suite.
Cancellations: Due to the size of our Inn, cancellations greatly affect us therefore we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. A full refund of your deposit (less a per room/per night $75 cancellation fee) will be offered for cancellations 30 or more days in advance of your scheduled arrival. We regret that we cannot offer any refund of cancellations of one night or multiple night stays less than 30 days prior to arrival. This policy subject to change without notice. Regular cancellation policy does not apply to Grandma's Marathon and the Bayfront Blues Fest.
Grandma's Marathon and Bayfront Blues Fest policies: A three night stay at the weekend rate is required for Grandma's Marathon (June 20, 2009) and Bayfront Blues Fest (August 7 - 10, 2008). Days can include either a Thursday or Sunday. Gift certificates of any type will not be accepted for these events. Our regular cancellation policy does not apply to these special events. All reservations are final at the time of booking and will not be offered a refund under our regular policy.
Weekend Reservations: We require a two night minimum weekend stay to include a Friday and Saturday. If your two night stay includes a Thursday & Friday, OR a Saturday & Sunday; you will be charged the regular weekend rate for each night. During our high season, a surcharge will be applied to a one night weekend stay.
Quiet Season and High Season: Our Quiet Season runs from November 1 thru Mid-May; and our High Season runs from Mid-May thru October 31.
We are a Smoke-Free Facility: The A.G. Thomson House is proud to offer a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, indoor public areas, nor anywhere on our grounds where it may impact other guests or pose a fire hazard. We will assess a $400 cleaning fee to your credit card for any violations of our no smoking policy.
We offer convenient and secure off street parking on our grounds located behind the Inn.
We are cleaning green! In our efforts toward environmental responsibility, we have begun the transition from regular cleaners to green cleaners and laundry detergent.
We welcome guests age 16 and older.
We are the ultimate animal lovers; however for the safety and convenience of all of our guests, we regret that we do not allow pets.
