Stone Mill Suites

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how much we enjoy staying with you at Stone Mill Suites. We have been coming to Lanesboro for 3 years (5 trips) from Ames, Iowa to ride the Root River Trail on our tandem bike, and each time we have been so impressed with your hospitality, cleanliness, and the wonderful accommodations. Last time we stayed on a Sunday night (October 29), and planned on riding Monday, but since there were no guests on Monday night you allowed us to check out later than noon. This was so nice because we were able to enjoy a full day of riding, then come back to the room to change clothes and pack our things for check out. I wanted to thank you formally for extending the check out time for us. We are now planning on visiting during the wintertime hopefully to enjoy cross country skiing. Of course, we have no intention of staying anywhere but with you at Stone Mill. Let's hope for some good snow this year! Thanks so much for the wonderful get-away destination. The original clay ceilings, lofty wood ceilings, and pipe stair railings accent the decor. Buildings history includes cold storage, egg and poultry processing plant, and feed storage facility. Themed suites and guest bedrooms, reflect local history and its undeniable charm. Relaxing amenities feature iron-claw fireplaces, double whirlpool tubs, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, DSL internet, and televisions. Children are welcome.

A generous continental breakfast may include English muffins, bakery items from Lanesboro Pasteries, cereal, fruit, beverages and French toast topped with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream.
