Root River Country Club
A 9 hole beautiful golf course 5 miles south of Spring Valley on Hwy. 63. Meals available.
South Park and Spring Valley Swimming Pool
Three to twelve foot swimming pool and baby pool, playground equipment, picnic pavilions, two ball diamonds, courts for playing tennis, basketball, sand volleyball and horse shoes.
Root River Trail
This 43 mile multi-use trail follows the Root River and farm land through beautiful bluff country.
Spring Valley Historic Church Museum
Almanzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder attended this church in 1890 and 1891, it is now on the National Register. Two floors of exhibits include Wilder Photo Display, Conley Camera Collection, Richard Sears Exhibit, 1874 Wooden Fire Wagon and much more from that era.
