Poplar Creek Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast

We offer two secluded year-around cabins - the Little Ollie Lake Cabin and the new Poplar Creek Retreat. The Little Ollie Lake Cabin is located on the shores of Little Ollie Lake and the Poplar Creek Retreat sits on the banks of Poplar Creek just a short walk from the Lake. The Lake is great for canoeing, fishing and swimming and is the source of Poplar Creek. Skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking trails begin at the front door of both cabins.

This modern two bedroom cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, free standing fireplace, electric heat and bath with shower and sauna. A satellite TV in the living room. The upper floor bedroom has one double size bed. The lower level bedroom has one double size bed plus two single size beds. Six people can be accommodated. $105 - $175/per night, double occupancy; $15 - $30 Each additional person.

This new luxurious two-bedroom cabin can accommodate up to six people and includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, freestanding LP fireplace, electric heat, four-season front porch and side deck. Each of the bedrooms has their own private bath with showers. The second floor bath has a whirlpool tub. Other features include: firepit, charcoal grill, private picnic area and phone. A canoe comes with the cabin. $99 - $175/per night, double occupancy; $15 - $30 Each additional person.

The Poplar Creek Guesthouse B & B sits on a glacial esker overlooking Little Ollie Lake and a beautiful year-round flowing creek. The Guesthouse offers two bed and breakfast guestrooms and a housekeeping suite. Features include fireplaces, private baths, decks and a whirlpool guestroom. Wireless internet is now available.

The bed and breakfast rooms are located on the second floor of the Guesthouse and have private baths. Dorothy's Room features two queen beds and a double shower. Ollie's Room has a queen-size bed and double whirlpool tub. Both rooms include a delicious breakfast. The second floor also includes a common area with fireplace and kitchen area. Outside deck overlooking Little Ollie Lake. $85 - $135/Extra Person $25 - $27.50

Barbara's Suite accommodates up to four people and has a great room with fireplace and kitchen, living room with satellite TV, private bath and bedroom. This room also has a private outside deck. Breakfast is available for an additional charge. $95 - $120/Extra Person $15

The Tall Pines Yurt is located on the edge of the Boundary Waters. This attractively furnished, twenty-foot housekeeping yurt is set-up to accommodate up to four people, sleeping on a futon and bunk beds. Additional cots or bunk beds can be brought in for larger groups. The yurt is heated by a wood stove/fireplace, has overhead gas lighting and a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, utensils) with a cook stove, dining table and chairs. Outside is an attached deck with a picnic table and a great view of the lake. A firepit, charcoal grill and a Finnish sauna are nearby. Outhouse is located near the yurt also. Pets welcome at the Tall Pine Yurt for a nominal fee. $69 - $105/Extra Person $15 - $25. The Croft Yurt is available only during the winter and serves as a welcome overnight stop for skiers traveling along the Banadad Ski Trail on a Yurt to Yurt Ski Adventure Trip.

• Two-day minimum at Cabin at all times. In the summer, we may request that your reservation fit up against another reservation so we do not have any open nights between reservations.
• Or we may request a one week stay during certain times, such as during July and August.
• Cabin Refund policy: Deposit refunded with cancellation notice received 60 more days prior to arrival date, less $25 service charge.
• With less than 60 day notice, deposit refunded, less $25 service charge, if cabin can be rerented.
• We will also hold your deposit, less service charge, for rebooking.
• Two-day minimum at Tall Pines yurt required except on yurt to yurt trips.
• Two-day minimum at Guesthouse on weekends may be required.
• All accommodations are smoke free.
• Taxes and gratuities are not included in rate.
• Deposit due within seven days after making reservation.
• Deposit refundable if cancellation is received 60 or more days prior to arrival date less service charge of $20 at the Cabin.
• Deposit refundable with gift certificate if cancellation is received 21 or more days prior to arrival date less service charge of $15 at the Guesthouse.
• If cancellation is received within 21 days of arrival date, one night rental is charged, unless entire reservation can be rebooked.
