For those of you who have stayed here in the past, you are familiar with this lovely Victorian-era building and know the history of it. She is still a lovely lady and we feel so fortunate to be here in a town we have found so warm and welcoming. New touches are being added - come and see.

We are not newcomers to innkeeping, having entertained many guests from around the world at Kokoke Lani Bed & Breakfast Inn in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii for a number of years before selling it to move to the mainland. Terry is truly a master of all trades and is a wonderful sous chef as well.

Being the chef at Kokoke Lani allowed me to be very creative. The abundance of fine foods to create the dishes we served our guests seemed endless. I bring to you some of the recipes I created in Hawaii. One of our favorites is Kokoke Lani French Toast a la Grand Marnier, but that is only the beginning.

Preparing and presenting wonderful breakfasts for our guests is something I thoroughly enjoy. Together, Terry and I share a love of meeting people and providing them a place to relax and unwind after a day of bicycling, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing or birding.

• Our reservation desk is closed between 8 and 9 AM while we serve breakfast to our guests and closed for the evening at 6 PM to allow us to dine and assist our guests.

• Mrs. B's Historic Lanesboro Inn is right on the Root River
• We have nine rooms from which to choose: eight queen rooms and one king room. Each room is unique. Some of our rooms have whirlpool tubs and all rooms have either electric fireplaces and/or gas fireplaces. Two overlook our beautiful three tier garden with a peaceful Zen Garden at the top. Sit by the river below, enjoy the birds and other wildlife. Our Garden is a 'Certified Wildlife Sanctuary. We are also on the Root River Trail.
• Room Rates: $124-165 per night double occupancy*
• Our room rate includes a full 'sit down' breakfast served between 8 & 9 AM in our bistro room or larger dining room.
• All rates are based on double occupancy and include a private bath, wonderful new mattresses and air conditioning.
• Please be aware that our rates may be higher at different times of the year. Two night minimum on weekends (Fri-Sat) (Sat-Sun) during our season, May through October.
• Check In: 3 - 6 PM; please let us know if you will be arriving later than 6 PM.
• Check Out: 11 AM.
• Children over 12 only please
• No pets please.
• Reservations are guaranteed and held with your credit card.
• Deposits will only be refunded less a $25 per room administrative charge with more than 7 days cancellation notice.
• Deposit applies to last day's stay.
