Your stay at LeBlanc House begins with a warm greeting from your host, Marsha Carlson, and a look around this historic home built in 1896 by William LeBlanc, an engineer with the riverfront lumber mills. He filled the house with quarter sawn red oak, and the original stick and ball trim and ornately carved fireplace mantle still grace the connecting parlors. Every room on the main floor has original stained glass windows. Guests are encouraged to relax by the fire with a warm beverage and fresh baked cookies or, in the warmer months, with a glass of lemonade on the porch overlooking beautiful flower gardens.
LeBlanc House is located in historic St. Anthony West, the Twin Cities' hottest neighborhood with shopping, restaurants, theater, parks, the Mississippi and downtown Minneapolis all within walking distance. Nearby Nicollet and Boom Islands offer hiking, biking and picnicing on the riverfront.
