Farmington, Minnesota 		The Magic Door is a stately, three story Victorian located on a spacious corner lot, just four blocks from downtown Northfield, Minnesota. It was built in 1899 by Henry Boe, the owner of one of Northfield's first hardware stores. The house has been both a private residence and a triplex before we purchased it in February 2001 to create our bed & breakfast.

Farmington is a city in Dakota County, and it is home to many special B&B establishments. The Renaissance Festival takes place near the area with a re-enactment of the middle ages. The Farmington Figure Skating Spring Festival is held every March to determine a local figure skating champion. If you are thinking about attending any of these wonderful family events, why not book a room in advance at a Farmington bed and breakfast or a Farmington inn. The Fountain Valley Golf Club is the best course in town. The Farmington Lanes is a popular local bowling alley. Ugly Mug has live music and pretty good food, too.
