Introduction

Among Hinckley, Minnesota, Bed and Breakfast lodging, Dakota Lodge ranks with the best in the north woods! It is set on 6 country acres surrounded by woodland, trails for walking and hiking, and the nearby St. Croix River. The rustic, log cabin style exterior belies its gracious, cozy interior. Located 90 minutes north of Minneapolis & St. Paul, near the Grand Casino Hinckley, we are just over an hour from St. Cloud and Duluth/Superior.

The Lodge features four guest rooms with private baths, double whirlpool tubs, access to high speed wireless Internet, and wood burning fireplaces. A charming two-bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen, fireplace, whirlpool bath, and entertainment center is just a short walk from the B & B. Each guest room in the Lodge is furnished with antiques, comfortable overstuffed sofas, and cozy bedding.

Breakfast at the Lodge begins with fresh brewed coffee and the aroma of muffins or breads baking
in the oven. You will find seasonal fresh fruit at every breakfast, along with herbal teas, and hot cocoa.

Rates and Policies
  • $119 - $195; Weekly rates available.
  • Standard rates are for two persons and include a full country breakfast.
  • Business rates available.
  • Rates may be discounted for long stays or groups, and when midweek specials are offered!
  • An advance deposit of $45 is required with a reservation.
  • This may be done by mail with a Check or Money Order, at least 2 weeks prior to reservation, or with a MasterCard or Visa. This is a non refundable deposit.
  • Reservations must be canceled 5 days prior to the scheduled arrival, unless it is for a special event then it is 14 days.
  • 30 days is required if booking the entire lodge.
  • If less than the required notice is given by the reserving party you will be responsible for the entire room charge unless your room can be rebooked.
  • If the room is rebooked a refund minus the deposit will be given.
  • Check in: 3 - 7 p.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Our B&B is smoke free and pet free.
