The Butler House is perfect for a wedding or honeymoon. Or just a weekend vacation spot where you and your spouse can rekindle romance. Visitors from all over the world relax here while on corporate business: Danes, Swiss, French, English, Australians, and Germans. Author Sinclair Lewis once slept here too. Within walking distance of downtown Mankato and minutes away from the River Hills Mall.

On your short walk through the front hallway to the dining room, you notice that the walls are adorned with magnificent coverings. The dining room features fumed oak woodwork, velvet drapes, cabinets with leaded glass doors, and the hand-painted murals on the walls called fresco.

Cuisine

When staying at the Butler House, you will enjoy a delicious, multi-course breakfast. Standard fare includes delicious pastries, fresh fruit, scrumptious egg dishes and a variety of other wonderful surprises whipped up by our Innkeepers. When you come down to breakfast, you'll be greeted by the great smell of the signature Butler House Blend Coffee.

Our Mystery Dinner meals are consistent with the theme - for example, the western-themed meal includes a hearty stew served in "mess dishes" around a western-themed centerpiece. We will customize our menu to your needs or we can work with your caterer.
