The White Rabbit Inn Bed and Breakfast - Lakeside, Michigan

The White Rabbit Inn is proud to be rated a "Three Diamond Accommodation" by the American Automobile Association.

The White Rabbit Inn is a small eight-room bed and breakfast located in the lovely little village of Lakeside, Michigan. We are only 90 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago, and less than 3-1/2 hours from Detroit or Indianapolis. Sophisticated antique stores, exquisite art galleries, highly acclaimed gourmet restaurants and wineries, surround us. And only blocks away are sugar sand beaches with majestic dunes, wooded trails and Lake Michigan. You will find plenty to do year-round in Harbor Country.

This property was once a little hotel. The traces of the inn's previous life still live on because each room has its own private, ground level entrance.

Breakfast is served in the Lodge, an airy building with large picture windows over looking the woods. Enjoy our "hearty" continental buffet while watching for deer, colorful wild birds or our favorite pair of chipmunks. Since you are here to relax, there are no phones in the rooms. Guests are welcome to use the courtesy phone in the Lodge.

We are animal lovers, and own two friendly Newfoundland dogs (Greyse and Skyler) and two sweet-natured cats. They live in our home but enjoy meeting guests by invitation only. Bill, an extremely friendly orange cat, often visits us. Please see our Pets Welcome page for details.

This year we will be closed from November 30 until Friday, December 26.
