Introduction
Country Living...
At Sandtown Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, in Engadine, Michigan, the world slows down as you enjoy our 1920 farmhouse bed & breakfast, which was originally built from a Sears house kit. We are located on 80 acres of rolling fields and woodlands. Hike our trails ... Watch wildlife... Relax in the porch swing... Hot tub outdoors under the stars... Reminisce about the old days looking at our antique farm equipment. Tour our gardens... Lift the lid on the cookie jar... All this awaits you at Sandtown Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, and best of all we are open year round.
Great mornings...
Early risers sip coffee or tea and chat with Caroll, as she cooks your breakfast the way great grandmother did - on the wood fired cookstove! The hearty morning meal is served family style in the dining room. Homebaked rolls, coffee-cakes, pancakes, bacon, waffles, sausage & potatoes are among the treats that change daily. Pass the maple syrup. You won't leave hungry!

Caroll makes rag rugs on her great grandmother's loom, knits woolen socks, quilts, cooks and bakes. Summer finds her tending the gardens.
Tom is an avid woodsman and handy man. Guests often ask Tom for a demonstration in his custom knife shop where he hand forges high carbon steel blades. He finds time for running, hiking, cross-country skiing and training Belle, our Alaskan husky dog. Holly, Polly, Dolly and Molly, our Tunis sheep eagerly await your attention.
Caroll's family are long time residents of this small farming community. You'll be staying with real Yoopers when you visit Sandtown Farmhouse B&B.
