Since the late 1800s, people have been vacationing at the Sand Castle Inn, a South Haven bed and breakfast, near the shores of Lake Michigan. After its recent total restoration, the Inn has nine spacious, lavishly decorated guestrooms, with fireplaces and private decks. An inviting alternative to typical chain hotel accommodations, The Sand Castle Inn Bed and Breakfast has a Victorian front porch with swing, white wicker furniture, and ceiling fans, as well as a lovely comfortable common room with fireplace.

All of the guestrooms are individually designer decorated and have king sized beds, private baths, private balconies and ceiling fans. Most have private fireplaces. The B&B is centrally air conditioned, and each room has its own thermostat. We have rooms that are truly unique and are appropriate for special occasions or for that little something extra. Lodging at The Sand Castle Inn is conveniently located one block from Lake Michigan beaches and sunsets, three blocks from downtown South Haven and easy walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants and to South Haven harbor.

Our intimate Inn is the perfect setting for your Michigan conference, group retreat, family reunion, or small wedding ceremony. We offer group travel accommodations for up to 30 people. If you're planning a business conference, we can help make it productive and conducive to original thinking and include, among other services and amenities, our Conference Room, break out meeting areas, social meeting areas and wireless, high-speed Internet access. If you're searching for a romantic Lake Michigan wedding location, our Inn is a memorable and historic site, and we can help with your planning and additional services that you will need, such as catering. For all business and social groups including family reunions and hobby retreats, we offer a unique, one-of-a-kind setting.

• We require a 2-night minimum on some summer weekends for Friday and
• Saturday nights. We require a 3 or 4-night minimum on some holiday weekends.

• The inn accommodations are not suitable for children under 13 or pets.
• The inn is a smoke free environment.
• We require a one night deposit per room when the reservation is made. This is nonrefundable within 10 days of the arrival date.
• Outside the 10 days, we will refund the deposit minus a $20 processing fee.
• Multiple room/group policies differ.
• Check In time is 3 - 7:30 p.m. (eastern). For late check in, please contact the Inn.
• Check Out is 11 a.m.
