Business Travelers Welcome! Why stay in a motel when you can stay with us? We provide a great home-cooked breakfast and a fabulous view. Utilize our cozy office for high-speed internet, fax and copier. Corporate rates available weekdays to suit your expense budget. Wireless access to the internet is available from almost any room in the house using your wifi-equipped laptop! In the living room you'll find a comfy, cozy area for relaxing by the wood-burning fireplace (featuring authentic Batchelder tile) or gathering with others for conversation or a game of chess. Read about the history of the home and its original builder. Dine in relaxed elegance in the dining room. We use grandmother's antique china and crystal stemware with every delicious, gourmet breakfast. |

Brie-stuffed French Toast with Warm Maple Syrup, Toasted Walnuts and Caramelized Bananas Every breakfast also features Kate's delicious home-made granola, fresh-squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, gourmet coffee and a variety of teas. We use organic eggs, bacon, sausage, dairy products (and other items as available.) Kate's kitchen garden provides many of the berries and veggies and herbs, in season. |
| Amenities include fluffy cotton bathrobes in all rooms, bottled water, fresh flowers, and hot tea in the dining room. In-house European Spa Services are available by arrangement and include manicure, pedicure and massage. Wireless access to the internet using your wi-fi equipped laptop. Our pets, who are not allowed to enter the guest areas of the home, are very friendly and love visitors. |

Our largest room features a king-size four-poster bed, fireplace, TV, DVD and VCR, private bathroom and private deck overlooking the river. Also features loveseat that converts to a single bed. Perfect for special occasions, such as honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays or other celebrations. A very romantic room! $225/night ($195/night November thru April). |
The Emily Dickinson Room features an antique-style queen-size bed, comfy wicker seating, antique dresser and a view of the river. Very pretty! The Emily Dickinson room includes a private sitting room and luxury bathroom (across the hall), furnished with two big wicker chairs for reading and relaxing. Sorry, no bathtub in this room, but it has a beautiful glass-walled shower! Fluffy bathrobes included for your use. $160/night ($150/night November thru April.) |
