Introduction
This stunning 5,500 sq foot 1870's home offers easy walking to wonderful downtown and Depot Town Ypsilanti easy access to fine dining and numerous leisure activities and festivals. A stay at The Queen's Residence is an opportunity to pamper yourself and escape to a quieter more relaxing era. Unique to our B & B is Henry Ford’s Gift of our authentic 1700's New England tavern originally purchased for Greenfield Village. Sit by the wood burning fire with a loved one and travel back in time!
Enjoy a grand breakfast in our dining room or in the tavern.
Spend for a private hour or two in our complete massage hot tub. Enjoy intimate privacy on the enclosed hot tub deck in our north garden as you unwind. Then retreat with a good book and a cup of coffee or tea (or maybe a wee-bit of Sherry) in our library, ladies' or gentleman's parlors. In the library, you will find an extensive choice of videos and DVD's and a book exchange.
For something more adventurous, consider giving one of our dance classes a whirl. We offer both group and private lessons in waltz, foxtrot, tango, rumba, east coast swing, and cha-cha. Make sure to call ahead to find out which dance we will be teaching!
The Queen's Residence has been featured on several Ypsilanti Heritage Festival Home tours and Meals on Wheels Christmas Home Tours.
