"Celebrating 15 years" Guests say that the Parish House Inn reminds them of the quaint small hotels found in the villages and towns of Europe. Historic Ypsilanti, founded in 1829 on the Huron River, also has that European tradition with a walkable city of Pubs, restaurants, shops, museums and parks. This Queen Anne style house began its life as a parsonage in 1893 and was moved to the current location in 1987. When you step inside you are greeted by gleaming hardwood floors, graceful tulip light fixtures and ceiling fans. The eight guest rooms are off the narrow hallway, which allows for maximum privacy and comfort.

Spend one night or a create a special weekend escape with one of the romantic packages ( Cupids Caper, perhaps?) Take a stroll through Riverside park to Depot Town and visit the many specialty shops, antique stores, restaurants and pubs that are housed in buildings dating back to the mid 1800's. Auto enthusiasts won't want to miss the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Collection and Miller Motors. Also located in Depot Town is the Michigan Firehouse Museum, featuring antique fire trucks and equipment, in a new addition to the old firehouse. In the kitchen you will find beverages, glassware, a "bottomless" cookie jar and popcorn always available. The breakfast menu features fresh fruit, juices, choice of cereals, a main dish, freshly baked breads and locally roasted, freshly ground coffee and tea. In the warmer months, step through the private patio area and relax in a comfortable chair to read or chat with friends.
