The Parish House has been voted the B&B with the "Best Cookbook" by inngoers in Arrington's Bed & Breakfast Journal's 2003 Book of Lists! The Inn's location is easily accessible from the I-94 expressway which connects to US 23, 275 and I-75. The Detroit Metro Airport is only 20 minutes east on I-94. Our location is convenient to Ann Arbor, the home of the University of Michigan. Eastern Michigan University is only a mile from the Inn, with the Business building just three blocks away.

Spend one night or a create a special weekend escape with one of the romantic packages ( Cupids Caper, perhaps?) Take a stroll through Riverside park to Depot Town and visit the many specialty shops, antique stores, restaurants and pubs that are housed in buildings dating back to the mid 1800's. Auto enthusiasts won't want to miss the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Collection and Miller Motors. Also located in Depot Town is the Michigan Firehouse Museum, featuring antique fire trucks and equipment, in a new addition to the old firehouse.

A day Spa, Eleven West, conveniently located just around the corner from the Inn, offers manicures, pedicures, facials, hair cuts (for both women and men) at a discount to Parish House inn guests. Plan a weekend escape and pamper yourself!

This Queen Anne style house began its life as a parsonage in 1893 and was moved to the current location in 1987. When you step inside you are greeted by gleaming hardwood floors, graceful tulip light fixtures and ceiling fans. The eight guest rooms are off the narrow hallway, which allows for maximum privacy and comfort.

In the kitchen you will find beverages, glassware, a "bottomless" cookie jar and popcorn always available. You can begin each day with a wonderful breakfast featuring fresh fruit, juices, choice of cereals, a main dish, freshly baked breads and locally roasted, freshly ground coffee and tea. This superb meal is served every morning in the breakfast room adjacent to the kitchen where discussion of the days plans and activities are shared. In the warmer months, step through the private patio area and relax in a comfortable chair to read or chat with friends. Follow the stepping stones to the clematis covered sitting area to watch the ducks floating by on the Huron River below, or follow the path to the river-walk garden filled with Hostas, roses and daylilys.
