Welcome to the Mendon Country Inn, the historic halfway point between Detroit and Chicago, merely two and a half hours from both cities. Our guests can enjoy the ambience of a historic stagecoach inn, with nine standard antique rooms each with their own private bath. Or pamper themselves with one of our 9 jacuzzi fireplace suites. Whether you choose to stay in the historic inn, the Innkeeper's Cottage suites, or the tranquil Creekside Lodge, you have the opportunity to enjoy our 14 acres nestled on the Little Portage Creek and St. Joseph river. Sit by the rapids on Serenity Island, or relax in the garden. The Inn boasts a canoe dock with 21 canoes including a fishing canoe for the outdoors man.
