Southwest Michigan
Southwest Michigan is a beautiful, peaceful, and interesting area to visit—whether passing through, planning a winter weekend getaway, or a full summer vacation. Beaches, sunsets, fine dining, sand dunes—all lovely attractions of Lake Michigan, and waiting for you here in Southwest Michigan. Some special items of interest? There’s fun with the minor league baseball team, the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays. Then the awesome Musical Fountain at Grand Haven. The hiking trails and the lovely climate are beckoning you to the area, but how about some unique family fun? Skydiving at Hastings is a real thrill. A little more subdued, but still entertaining are the Soccer Spot, the Higher Ground Climbing Center, and Laser Quest game, also located in Grandville. The southwest region of Michigan provides 30 percent of the fruit that is produced in the state. Peaches, apples, grapes, and blueberries are most abundant at our 1200 orchards and farms. Southwest Michigan is a lovely place to be at any time of the year.
