Introduction
"Welcome to the Hackley-Holt House!"
Built in 1857 for Joseph Hackley, it was considered one of the finest residences of its time. This lovely Italianate-style house was later home of Henry Holt, who served two terms as Lieutenant Governor of Michigan. Now you can find it on the National and State Register of Historical Places.
Located in Historic Heritage Village, the Hackley-Holt House offers the beauty and tranquility of perennial gardens and a large wrap-around porch to catch the lake breezes; yet is within walking distance of shopping, fine restaurants, theater, entertainment, and Muskegon Lake.
A hearty, full breakfast is served in our dining room.
Each morning we offer a variety of juices, fresh ground coffee and a selection of teas. You can always find homemade sweets and seasonal fruit in the dining room and our main course will not leave you wanting. Enjoy!
