Introduction

Glen Lake Guest House is located in Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula on the East side of Big Glen Lake in the midst of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. The village of Glen Arbor, 3 miles down the road, sits on Sleeping Bear Bay of Lake Michigan. The Guest House includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and accommodates up to 8 people.

Amenities include a Guest Kitchen in the Great Room with gas fireplace and cable TV, Wi-Fi, Guest Office with computer and wireless printer, Guest Phone, Laundry Room with clothes steamer and ironing board, Outdoor Pool and Outdoor Jacuzzi. Cable TV is also available in each of the guest bedrooms. Rooms have keyed entries, while the loft has a keyed room for secure storage.

Start the day with a breakfast of your choosing from our breakfast menu and served at the time you designate. We realize guest's diversity includes some enjoying sleeping in and others are ready to start their day earlier. Follow breakfast with activities of your choice, be it a National Park visit, village shopping, the peninsula's numerous wineries, peninsula art galleries, a day of golf or skiing depending on the season, charter fishing, numerous festivals, a scenic historic drive, or a nature walk.

OR... stay at the Guest House and enjoy the outdoor pool in summer or outdoor Jacuzzi on a cold winter's day or night, followed by a fine dining experience at one of our local restaurants. Watch the sunset over the bay and then return to the Guest House for an outdoor campfire or curl up with a good book near the gas fireplace. A day full of activities or a quiet day at the Guest House, it's your choice!

Summer Room

Rentals can be arranged for any number of nights to accommodate your needs while visiting Leelanau County. Weekly rentals do not include the breakfast service option. Stays of less than 7 nights are rented by the room and include a full service breakfast served in the formal dining room. The Guest House is private and separate from the Innkeeper's residence to ensure complete privacy for your family/group.

Spring Room

Fresh Spring colors of green and violet with white furnishings on main floor. Queen bed, reading lamps, desk, chair, dresser, mirror, luggage racks, cable TV/DVD/VCR, air conditioned and private bath. Cuddle-Bed foundation bedding.

Summer Room

Fresh pastel summer colors on main floor. Full bed, reading lamps, desk, chair, dresser, mirror, luggage rack, cable TV/DVD/VCR, air conditioned, shared bath. Cuddle-Bed foundation bedding.

Loft

Nautical decor of yellows, blues and reds. Queen bed and two twin beds (daybed with trundle), dresser, mirror, luggage rack, walk-in closet, cable TV/DVD/VCR, air conditioned, private bath. Luxurious bedding.

Policies

Check-in Time 3 PM (occasionally earlier and late arrivals allowed)
Check-Out time 11 AM (no later)
All reservations are held upon receipt of either a one night's stay or a 50% deposit of the total reservation on stays over one night.
Cancellations received two weeks before the reserve date will be refunded less a $25 service fee.
Cancellations within two weeks of reserved date will be charged 50% of total reservation cost.
If vacancy is subsequently filled, you will only be charged the $25 service fee.
Unfortunately we cannot accept pets or smoking indoors. Smoking outdoors is allowed.
The swimming pool is a "Swim at your Own Risk" posted environment.
The outdoor Jacuzzi is open all winter.
