Introduction

Originally opened in 1913 as the Blue Point Hotel of Mecosta, Michigan, the Lodge was the perfect retreat for such notables as Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, Albert Einstein and Henry Ford. Now enjoy a fully renovated and modernized experience that retains that feeling of a slower and quieter time. We sit on the best beachfront on the Tri Lakes in the heart of some of Michigan's best golf and fishing. So if you're looking for an active get-away or just want to curl up with a book, you've come to the right place.

The Lodge has been home to many weddings and special events. Our lakeside gazebo makes the perfect background for a romantic ceremony and the large lawn is an ideal place to entertain your guests.

Master Suite

All of our six guest rooms have their own unique charm. Our Master Suite, overlooking the lake, has a beautiful full, private bath complete with a claw-foot tub. Our Junior Suite also has a full, private bath and has partial lake and perennial garden views. The remaining four rooms all have an in-room sink and share two spacious full baths. The guest area is accessible by a private entrance. You are also encouraged to enjoy our game room with cable TV, VCR, DVD and the library featuring a 17-foot, stone fireplace. There is also an outdoor hot tub, kayak and docking space for your own boat at no additional charge.

And we're easy to get to...just an hour and a half from Lansing, two from the Detroit area, three from Chicago and only forty minutes from Grand Rapids. There are also several private airstrips in the area.

Rates & Policies
  • Master Suite: $139
  • Junior Suite: $129
  • Rooms: $79
  • Breakfast is included with each room reservation.
  • A two night minimum applies and reservations are required.
  • Ask about group discounts.
  • Occupancy rates are subject to change.
  • State taxes apply.
  • Minimum stay is two nights.
  • Smoking in the Lodge is not permitted.
  • No pets please.
  • A 50% deposit check or credit card payment is due when a reservation is made.
  • Check-in: 4 to 7 pm and check-out time is 11 am.
  • If you are forced to cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund if you cancel ten or more days in advance.
  • Payment is due upon arrival.
