Great Room

Welcome to Black River Crossing Bed & Breakfast, a spacious log home in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We welcome adults who are looking for an outdoor adventure or a quiet indoor getaway in any season, whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter.

Black River Crossing Bed & Breakfast was built in 1997 from white pine logs, and opened in January 2002. We are situated near Ottawa National Forest in the heart of the Lake Superior snowbelt. Our Bed and Breakfast has three bedrooms, four fireplaces and three common areas for relaxation, game playing and movie watching. Enjoy complimentary evening beverages and indulge in a full, home-cooked breakfast.

Guest Rooms
*Lake Superior Room*	Features a carved log sink, a window seat, and private bathroom with an all-marble, custom shower.	$125 per night
*Black River Waterfalls Room*	Features a comfortable suede loveseat, woodland views, two-person whirlpool tub and a custom-built, two-person shower.	$149 per night
*Black River Pines Room*	A unique, spacious, loft room with a fifteen foot vaulted knotty pine ceiling, a solid oak sleigh bed, reading area, 3-sided gas log fireplace, heated granite floor and whirlpool tub.	$159 per night

Common Areas

The Great Room offers a wall of windows overlooking PowderHorn mountain ski area. This room with an island fireplace, offers ample space for large groups, yet there are two separate seating areas for private, cozy conversations or reading.

The Loft. Enjoy the log-burning, fieldstone fireplace or gaze out over the forest. Play a game or do a puzzle at the game table. The loft is a great area to relax and enjoy the evening.

The Game Room. Stretch out on the built-in couch and enjoy a movie. Play foosball or darts. Or, borrow a book from the bookshelf and warm yourself in front of the gas fireplace.

Sauna Cabin. Our wood-fired sauna is available every evening for guests to relax and soothe aching muscles.

Rates include evening beverages and a full breakfast.
All three bedrooms are large, relaxing and private and are designed for one or two adults.
We are a pet-free, smoke-free home.
