    History of Beechwood Manor Inn & Cottage

    Step into a 'Peace' of the past. This inn was home to an American Diplomat, the Superintendent of Saugatuck School in 1875. He went on to become a U.S. Consular Agent, Consul General and in 1893 to 1900, Warner P. Sutton practiced International Law in Washington, D.C.
